Dr. Evelyn Kass-Williamson
Evelyn Kass-Williamson DVM is originally from Massachusetts and is a graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary medicine. In her career as a small animal veterinarian, she has been a practice owner, a manager of multiple hospitals for a corporate practice, an associate veterinarian and most recently a relief practice owner where she has had the opportunity to learn so many new techniques from other practitioners.
For many years she has been studying complementary, integrative, holistic medicine and has incorporated many of these ideas in her practice to improve the quality of life for her patients. She is excited to join McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital where she can focus on this area.
She feels that many chronic health issues stem from challenges in the digestive tract and will focus on nutritional support including herbs and supplements to support healthy pets. She will also provide pulsed magnetic wave therapy for injuries and joint disease.
In her spare time, she likes yoga, hiking and spending time with her family. She has 2 furry family members, a 13-year-old kitty who was feral as a kitten, and a 2-year-old terrier mix who played Toto in The Wizard of Oz, has a been a PetSmart model and recently won her first qualifier in agility competition.
